A few words on pricing. Paperbacks come in many
different shapes and sizes. The small paperbacks you might find on a spinning
rack at the beach gift shop are approximately 4.25" x 6.75" and sell for
$6.99-$7.49. Revelation is not one of those. Revelation is a
larger format (5.5" x 8.5"), often referred to as a trade paperback. The lowest
price we fouind on these was $14.95. That's how we set the book's
price. |

World at War
Revelation
a novel by Mark H. Walker

It’s the
summer of 1985. Sergeant Matt Dahl is a tanker, dedicated to his crew and
country, Mike Hudson is a private dedicated only to himself, and Colonel Michael
Balakirev is a Russian paratrooper, intent on holding the Tanenhause Bridge. These men are among the hundreds
of thousands that are embroiled in the Third World War, embroiled in NATO’s
struggle to stall the Soviet advance through West Germany.
Yet
the unparalleled devastation wrought by
the war has torn the fabric of our reality and beckoned things, dark things,
things that feed on blood and fear, into the lives of these soldiers and the men
and woman who fight with them. Revelation contains more than the crack
of tank cannon, or the burp of an M-16’s three-round burst. Inside is also the
howl of a Lycan, the speed of an attacking vampire, and the dark evil of an
ancient demon.
The
paranormal elements weave believably into the story. There are no armies of
crazed werewolves, vampires who glisten in the sun before seducing lonely
teenagers, or demons with forked tales. Just combat in a dark, desperate world
on the edge of Armageddon.
Thousands of men, women, and machines battle across Germany. Can the Soviet horde be
stopped? Can the evil that war has unleashed be contained? Based on the
award-winning World at War board
game, Revelation is the first in the
World at War trilogy of novels, and a
groundbreaking blend of gritty, military realism and suspenseful paranormal
action.
